over a decade of punishment far beyond reason- solitary confinement, abuse, and denied care.
Yet despite the dehumanization he has endured,
he continues to advocate for others behind bars, providing support and solidarity
to fellow inmates. His resilience and compassion in the face of systemic abuse
are proof of his unwavering spirit.

While incarcerated, Marcus transitioned — a courageous act that has made him a target and subjected him to greater violence and burden. We have only heard good things about him.
