At 18 years old, Joshua was incarcerated for

a nonviolent act in Ferguson. He has suffered

over a decade of punishment far beyond reason- solitary confinement, abuse, and denied care.

Yet despite the dehumanization he has endured,

he continues to advocate for others behind bars, providing support and solidarity

to fellow inmates. His resilience and compassion in the face of systemic abuse

are proof of his unwavering spirit.

CLARENCE TAYLOR

At 18, Clarence was convicted of murder

he did not commit. He was sentenced to life W/O parole. Clarence has endured 27 years

of HARD time in prison as an innocent man.

ANTOINE BARTON

At 18 Antoine was convicted for a murder he did not commit and was sentenced to life W/O parole. He is now 32 and has endured 14 years in prisons as an innocent man.

but beneath it he is gentle, kind, and truly extraordinary. Nearly 20 years ago, he was incarcerated in a self-defense case and has since served his full sentence. Awaiting release in 2026, Antonio is ready for a new beginning!

RONALD HALKMON

Our dear Ronald has just passed on due to great mistreatment at the hand of the staff. He endured a severe assault, and constant targeting while being put back in solitary. He was found deceased Saturday morning January the 17th 2025. It has been devastating and beyond angering to know how abused he was in these last weeks...though this last week he was graced with some really good news, lots of love from us and his family, as well as making peace with a few on the inside. There was GRACE thank God. Ronald was a profound and wonderful human being! He deserved only kindness and his freedom.

He was 48 years old and serving life W/O parole as an innocent man.

He will be very missed by us, his daughter, his father, his 2 sisters and his cousin, and Lady C.

MARCUS WHARTON ~

We learned of Marcus just recently. He's been in segregation for sometime so we have yet to speak with him. He's reaching out through another. He entered prison young, sentenced far beyond the measure of his crime. While incarcerated, Marcus transitioned -a courageous act that has made him a target and subjected him to greater violence and burden. We have only heard good things about him.
